Cleanup
pinset clean cache
Delete downloads no longer referenced by projects or recovery records to free disk space.
View source on GitHub ↗When to use
Use when download cache grows too large. Installed tools remain; remove unused installs with clean installs.
Examples
pinset clean cache --plan
pinset clean cache
Result: lists candidates/retained objects, then deletes unreferenced cache. In previews, removed means planned paths, not completed deletion.
Behavior
Protects registered projects, global locks, venvs and unfinished transactions. Uncertain objects remain. No network or choice changes. Only safe managed cache objects are removed; referenced cache remains useful offline.
