Use before decryption or after pulling changes. Establish trust with env trust add.

Illustrative valid output: trusted: yes. Invalid trust produces trusted: no and a detail reason.
Behavior
Reads trust and current fingerprints only; no network, decryption or writes. Successful queries do not imply trust. Scripts must inspect JSON trusted.
Parameters, exit codes and common errors
No command-specific options. Query success exits 0, including trusted: false. File errors exit 1. Review changes before renewing trust.
